With a trunk full of stress and a trailer packed with postponed plans, we drive towards who-knows-where, as long as it’s far away. Anything goes. Nothing is too absurd. Until the compass starts to falter, and everyone disappears into their own rabbit hole.
In a world where fact and fantasy increasingly blur into one another, it proves remarkably easy to lose our bearings. WAAN reveals how easily we slip from the tangible world into a fantastical parallel reality. A disorienting yet magical performance in which absurdity triumphantly overtakes reality.
Unceremoniously, WAAN pushes performers and audiences alike over the edge of what is real, confronting us with a final question: will we ever find our way back to one another?
